Is it beneficial?

I always wonder if the information I share is beneficial. The entire point of speaking, is to provide useful/necessary knowledge to those who would listen. If you read this blog, take a second to reply or say a simple Hi. I see the count register of visitors going up slowly, but do not know if that is true or not.I Have checked frequently to see if the ability to comment is there and it appears that it is. So help me out here and reply at least once, even if you only say Hi or 1.
I am going to use this as a platform to post updates and progress reports when I move from here shortly. It may take me a while to get the internet set up, as I will be taking everything and moving far away, and as usual, I will be working alone. Sometimes difficult from a wheelchair, but again, as usual, I will be relying upon prayer to my Father in heaven and Jesus my Redeemer.
Trying to get everything together for my first? trip down here soon. I will have to get an address, sat phone, grading a driveway and 'yard' to set a storage container on and start building my hut and everything else. I'll get back to this shortly, just wanted to make a small entry since I haven't in a while. God Bless and here is a link for you all...

It was answered prayer...God wants only the best for us.

A few days after the plot of desert I was planning on getting sold, another I had overlooked caught my attention. It solved most of the 'problems' the other site presented to me. The deed is scheduled to be done by 15 Feb.
This has put me in hurry up mode at a time I can barely hurry up. Severe cold with snow and ice, limits my traveling ability. I can't afford to be out in it long and there is always the chance of getting stuck. You can't get very far in a chair in snow and ice. BUT, with God, all things are possible!
Today, I took my truck to get some work done on it in preparation for the move. Cold and snowy out, single digits. The ice didn't even start to melt on my windshield when I arrived there. Sat around for 5 hours then said my goodbyes to them. Came the long way home to look at the scenery. I know I am not going to see it again, probably, once I move. Been taking pictures every time I go for a drive for a few years now, for memories. It is 'home' after all. But my TRUE home isn't here. I long for the promised home that Jesus is to provide, with Him and our Father, for eternity.
Here is a link to my facebook page. I have posted for years, trying to get information out there for people that want to know truth. Why are we, who put us here, and what in the world is going on here... those who do not believe this world is all there is. Our Creator is soon to put and end to sin and suffering in this world. Get to know Him and His plan for you.

Beauty in the cold...

Took one of my favorite drives, to Newfound Gap Today. As I drive, I always listen to one of many books written by my favorite author outside of the Bible. Patriarchs and Prophets, by Ellen G. White, A commentary on said men, in the Bible. I highly recommend reading and/or listening to it, as well as any of the many books and articles she has written. They will help you grow in faith and knowledge, as well as your relationship with Christ will become greater/closer...they always lead you back to study the Bible more and more.

Too slow or anwer to prayer?

The spot of land I was looking to buy sold unexpectedly. My first thought when I read the email was, "waited too long". Immediately after the thought hit me, I realized it was an answer to my prayer...as always. I end every prayer asking that His will be done, as I do not want to do anything not according to what is best for me or for those I am praying for. We do not always know what we ought to pray for, the Holy Spirit knows what we need (Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us...Romans 8:26).
Ah, the perfect peace that comes from knowing EVERY good and perfect gift comes from the Father of Lights, our Almighty God. THY will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Thank you Father.

Arise unto newness of life...

For most people, a new year signifies a chance for a fresh start. Jesus offers the only worthwhile fresh start.

This is what happens after baptism. You went under the water, signifying death to the old life of sin, subject to satan. You were brought up out of the water, signifying rebirth to a new life, willfully submitting to Christ, by His power, to live for Him, no longer controlled by satan.

I prayed today before I started on my rounds to town for fire blocks and groceries. I usually dread the crowded streets and grumpy people. Today was different. Before I even got out of my car a gentleman asked if I needed help, as I was getting my chair out and putting the wheels on. I turned to answer and said no, he smiled , wishing me a good day and happy new year. This was the start of many more folks offering help with big smiles, cheerful attitudes and good wishes. Back to the house to unload and get the truck for the trip to Morristown Aldi's for groceries. Once again, many offers to help, took up some of them to reach items for me that I could not, always they smiled big and good wishes followed. Another handful of folks offered help putting the groceries in the truck for me. When the last lady started handing the last items from the cart to me, it struck me what had happened to make this trip SO very different. I remembered my prayer at the start... God was showing me why HE has hope for this troubled world. Like Elijah, when he was fleeing Jezebel for fear of his life, when he said "I alone am left!" God said, "Not so, I have reserved unto me 7000 in Israel who have not bowed the knee unto Baal."

I am accustomed to telling people I got it, I just make it look hard, and laugh. This day, God had me slow down and listen, and see that they were taking joy from being able to share the burden with a fellow struggler, in this harsh world. I offered up prayers for each of these and other folks during this days journey. Not MUCH different from other days like this. But THIS day, God revealed a bit more of the interactions to me, seeing it from THEIR side. In contrast to my side, not trying to be a burden to anyone.

Galatians 6:2 "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

 That law being,
"Love your neighbor as yourself."

Principle understood more fully... Thank you Father.

Have a great Sabbath!

This was how Friday grocery run started at the house this afternoon...

            Psalm 4:6-8
There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift
thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
